My everyday concealer stick - Etude House Concealer Stick

Hey everyone! I'm back for another review! And yes, I'm going to talk about the concealer that I use everyday. It's the Etude House Concealer Stick.

I'm going to tell you straight to the point that it is not the perfect concealer you can find. In fact, it's just the average concealer, and can be a bit creamy. It does cover your blemishes but will not last for more than 5 hours. However, the reason I am still sticking to this stick for quite some time now is its affordability and the fact that what you pay is what you get.

Meaning for a mere less than $4 you get what is worth of the price.

I have my concealer that I consider as my HG but will talk about it in another review.

So that's it. If you really just want a concealer that can be your everyday concealer - meaning you won't be hesitant to use it and exhaust it because of it being pricey - try the Etude House Concealer Stick.

It will cover the blemishes.

Just make sure you bring it everywhere with you because you might have to retouch after several hours. Don't worry, it's handy!!!

My all-time recommended Fragrance Mist

I am a perfume lover. I believe most of us in our family are. My grandparents have a huge contribution as to why we are so obsessed with fragrances because they too have been obsessed in making themselves smell great. To the point that people within a certain distance from them would still get a hint of what perfume they were wearing.

If you are going to ask me what perfume suits my taste well... It had to be the Chanel No. 5... But we all know that it is kinda pricey so if I were to use something everyday, it had to be something less expensive. I also prefer a lighter scent if it's going to be an everyday wear.

Lo and behold, the Victoria's Secret Fragrance Mist in Amber Romance.

Why do I like it? For me, it has the perfect scent as it is not too sweet and not too strong.

Based on my nose (lol), it gives off a lighter scent of another favorite of mine which is the Ysatis de Givenchy.

I can also fall in love with those fragrances that smell girly however, I would still prefer something like Amber Romance. As I said, because it's hard to explain the scent of a fragrance... It is not too sweet (not bubblegum scent or fruity) and not too strong (like some perfumes).

It also gives off that sensual vibe and its scent mixes well with most of the lotion available in store.

Plus the fact that it is cheaper than the others :)

And besides, since its Victoria's Secret... Maybe someday I can be an angel too? :)

Guess what I have posted in instagram! A mini cover of Shania Twain's Still The One

Please forgive me for being me! I uploaded a video of myself singing the chorus of Shania Twain's still the one :))

Was actually considering uploading covers in youtube because I am that shameless. LOL

Just in case you have the time, check on my public profile in instagram : zipporra22

Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss Strawberry Fraise Review

So I got this lip gloss from a friend who came from Singapore.

First things first, with regards to lipglosses, I am neither a fan or anti-fan. Lol. I am actually just in between. I'd use it if I feel like it, and I won't use it if I don't think it's going to make me look better.

As expected with lip glosses, Revlon's Colorburst is also sticky. Just like the other glosses but there were some that I tried that were only light weight when worn on the lips. For short, this one could compete in the heavy weight division.

For the color, I tried swatching it and here is what Strawberry Fraise looks like on the skin.

Upon application, I was not attracted to the smell. Maybe because I am a fan of fragrances and would like something that smells good even on my lips. But that is subjective.

As I have mentioned earlier, upon wearing it on my lips, as expected, I felt something really enveloped my lips. It's really heavy weight. And as for the color, I believe it is not as pigmented as I expected it to be as compared as to how I applied it on my skin - but of course, that is expected! Most lip glosses are like that.

My verdict: B-

I will still be using this but not as a stand alone application my lips. I'd rather apply this on top of a pinkish matte lipstick that I have if I wanted my lips to have gloss and look plump.

Removing your Liner - Etude House's Line Stick Remover

Special thanks to instagram's makeupinmanila in posting the product in her page which led me to buying and trying this product.

So... Have you ever had any difficulty in removing your eyeliner? Well I did. Especially with the liquid eyeliner ones.

My current favorite liquid eyeliner now is from a local brand called Fashion 21. I have a post previously about how I line my eyes and that is the eyeliner that I used for that. I love it because of the fact that it is easy to apply and also it is waterproof.

The thing is that, it is also hard to remove by the time you really want to remove it already. I am yet to find the perfect makeup remover for me as I have issues with some brands because they have caused some breakouts to my skin or they have caused my skin to become oilier.

I came across a post in instagram about a product of Etude House (a Korean brand, which has Sulli of f(x) as its current endorser hehe, previously it was 2ne1's Dara). It is called a Line Remover Stick and it promises to easily wipe off eyeliners

The price here in the Philippines is P148 (less than $5) - see receipt for proof of purchase. LOL.

Luckily, I can read Hangul (Korean characters) somehow, so just by looking at the front cover of the packaging, I can tell that it has Aloe Vera and Argan Oil.

Before I purchased it, I tried it with their eyeliner testers and have seen that it could actually wipe off the makeup easily.

So for the testing part at home.

I opened it and here is what I got. You can see how long it is (or short - the length is subjective on how often you use it). Simple packaging but of course, at this time my concern was on it working on my very difficult to remove eyeliner.

I started to test first on the back of my thumb and applied the eyeliner.

I then applied a small amount of the remover and wiped it with tissue. I could see some of the eyeliner come off but mostly have just been smudged. So, I re-applied the remover and wiped it again.

And voila! The eyeliner I have previously applied is now gone!

Now for my eyes.

I have done an eye makeup earlier this morning (see instagram post: zipporra22). I used the Fashion 21 dipliner for the look and now I have just washed my face with my cleanser.

Notice how the eyeliner is still there despite my efforts in removing it.

So now I will be testing Etude House's Line Remover Stick on my eye.

Look at the pictures and see how it has removed my eyeliner.

Amazing!

I can actually say now that I have found my new love in this remover stick. Though some would say that petroleum jelly can do this as well, it's much easier to do it with this product though (trust me, I have tried both!)

My verdict? A!

Line your Eyes

Hello again!

It has been a known fact that putting on eyeliners could be tricky especially for starters. Mind you, some even find it harder to line their eyes with liquid eyeliners.

I am a huge fan of liquid eyeliners. I am also a huge fan of the winged eyeliner. How was I able to master lining my eye? Simple. Practice and practice. You won't learn just by simply watching gurus in YouTube or blogs how they do their eyes. You have to try! No matter how weird it would look like in the start or how hard it was in the beginning.

I have tried several eyeliner brands -- and knowing me they range from the cheap to expensive ones. I am now a huge fan of a local brand in the philippines called fashion 21 as it is really waterproof and doesn't get removed just because I perspired.

The downside to it being waterproof is that it takes too long to remove it.

I have also tried Elf but I had to give up on it as it gets erased over time. It lines easily on my eyelids but also gets removed easily.

So here is how I line my eyes!

1. Start with lining simply the part of your eyelids nearest to the lash line.

2. Draw a diagonal line from your first line. The angle depends on how you would like your "wing" would look like. Then put another one on the tail of your first line that would meet your first diagonal line.

3. Now that you have made a triangle, fill in the spaces produced by the lines you have made.

4. Make some touch ups if there are weird looking areas. But if you are able to master it, this would be an easy thing to do.

Here is how it looks like with (left side) and without (right side) eyeliner.

Notice the difference?

Have fun trying and practicing and good luck!

What's your skin care routine?

Any girls' dream is to have flawless skin... Especially the face since it is what most people notice first in an individual.

I, personally, have came across challenges related to breakouts, pimples and all that. I have also tried several products ranging from the cheap ones to the more expensive ones. It was always about taking the risk and chances in the products I have been using.

Luckily, for me... I have found the perfect match to my skin and its needs. Shiseido's Ibuki skincare products. Composed of Gentle Cleanser, Softening Concentrate and Refining Moisturizer.

The softening concentrate is considered the toner for this line.

You should use these products religiously (as for my case, twice a day - morning and evening) to see the results. I have been using them for months now and I have not had any breakouts at all! If there would be a little sign of pimple coming out of my skin, it would normally go away the next day. Now that was impossible before I was introduced to Ibuki!

I can't say that Ibuki will work perfectly fine to everyone who is going to try it. But the point is, you really have to find the perfect match for you, especially when it comes to your skin. You shouldn't settle for anything that will cause further damage to your skin.

Let me know your skin care products and share how they have benefited you. :)

Shiseido is one of the oldest cosmetics companies in the world, founded 1872.

Let's talk about makeup : Makeup Brushes

Once a girl sees a set of makeup brushes, it's quite impossible for her not to go crazy over it. Especially if they get to feel how soft the bristles of the brushes are, or if they get to realize how this brush is exactly a dupe of a more expensive brand.

Guess what?

I am that GIRL.

Finally after years of living painfully with my old makeup brushes, I was able to get a new set of 21. And if you ask me if I am satisfied...? Very satisfied!

Presenting a makeup brush set found in the Philippines... Charm makeup brush set (Pro)!

I am really impressed how the brushes feel on my face and their delivery of a good finish on my makeup.

Famous brushes of MAC have dupes in this set which make me even more satisfied about this purchase.

I do admit that I still have a fantasy of owning some Sigma brushes (a girl can dream!), but for now, I will be satisfied with this set and will be using these in creating looks you will see here in the future.

Here are the brushes included in this set:

There you have it ladies! Just a food for thought, if you can't get the pricey brands yet, explore the other cheaper brands that will also give you an almost the same quality with the former.

Share with me your makeup brushes.

Talk to you soon!

Have a great day!

Seasons Greetings

Well it's been a while since I have last posted anything in this blog. I was so caught up with work so sorry blog!

But of course I have to come back to posting by showing what I received a few weeks back!

My very own 2014 Bigbang Season's Greetings! It's Bigbang pictures overload and for a VIP like me... I can say the price is worth it.

But to be honest, I don't have any intentions in using it. Might as well just stare on their pretty faces the whole day!

Let's talk about makeup : Lipsticks

I used to be not obsessed with lipsticks, especially with the expensive ones! But when I got MAC from my cousin, and Revlon from another cousin... I realized the wonders lipstick do to a woman.

I am now a huge fan of lippies.

Not to mention, I have huge plans of hoarding them.

As of the moment, I got 11 and I still plan to expand my collection.

It wouldn't hurt right?

I will be posting a review for each so stay tuned!

So what are your favorite lippies? Share it with me, and comment!

Have a great day!
